Video Summary
Once upon a time, Fox was visiting Christmastown. Suddenly, Cookie, fresh out of the oven, bursts through the bakery doors ready to be devoured. CRUNCH! But
wait a second, Fox instantly spits Cookie out saying, “You taste awful!” This brings Cookie to tears. Fox tries to help Cookie find a new identity by becoming sweeter, faster, and fitting in! But after trying and failing, Cookie gives up. He turns around to find a group of freshly made Christmas ornaments who ask him to hang with them. It turns out Cookie wasn’t really a cookie after all! Cookie was a freshly baked ornament, ready
to hang on the biggest Christmas tree in the center of the park with the sweetest view in town.

Video #1: For a more in depth understanding of the books, we have provided a video retelling an in-class story. Each pass through the text or illustrations allows students to dive deeper into the story’s meaning, preparing them for more complex narratives down the road.
Video #2 & Worksheet: Parents may print the worksheet corresponding to the story. In the second video, Ms Liann will guide students through completing the worksheet. Younger students will learn the appropriate sizes, shapes, and sounds of letters. Older students will learn the spelling of new words, helpful phonics rules, and how to write in complete sentences.
